Shawntai Brown

Detroit Kresge Live Arts Fellow Shawntai Brown is a writer and literacy advocate. Shawntai has birthed nearly two dozen plays centering queer people of color. She is co-creator of the Black LGBT+ Plays network and co-host of Woman Crush Everyday, a webshow focusing on representations of Black Queer Womxn.
